Whilstyouaremoving,youbrakebytransferringforceto
thehandrimwithyourhands.

Ifyouapplytheparkingbrakeswhileyouare
moving,thedirectionofmovementcanbecome
uncontrollableandthewheelchairmaystop
suddenly,whichcanleadtoacollisionortoyou
fallingout.
–Neverapplytheparkingbrakeswhileyouare
moving.

Riskoffallingoutofthewheelchair
Ifthewheelchairisrapidlydeceleratedbyan
assistantpullingatthepushhandles,theuser
mayfalloutofthewheelchair.
