Checkingvisually
1.Examineyourwheelchairforlooseparts,cracksorother
defects.
2.Ifyoundanything,haveyourwheelchairchecked
immediatelybyyourprovider .
Checkingthecastors
1.Checkthatthecastorsturnfreely.
2.Removeanydirtorhairfromthecastorbearings.
3.Faultyorwornoutcastorsmustbereplacedbyyour
provider .
Checkingthebolts
Boltscanworkloosethroughconstantuse.
1.Checkthattheboltsaretight(onthefootrest,seat
cover,sides,backrest,frame,seatmodule).
2.Tightenanylooseboltswiththesuitabletorque.
Thereforerefertotheservicemanual,availableonthe
internetatwww.kuschall.com.
IMPORTANT!
Self-lockingscrews/nutsorthread-locking
adhesiveareusedforseveralconnections.If
theseareloosened,theymustbereplacedby
newself-lockingscrews/nutsortheymustbe
securedusingnewthread-lockingadhesive.
–Self-lockingscrews/nutsmustbereplacedby
yourprovider.
Checkingthespoketension
Thespokesshouldnotbelooseordistorted.
1.Looseorbrokenspokesmustbetightenedbyyour
provider .
Checkingtheparkingbrakes
1.Checkthattheparkingbrakesarepositionedcorrectly.
Theparkingbrakeissetcorrectlyiftheparkingbrake
shoedepressesthetyrebyafewmillimeterswhenthe
parkingbrakeisengaged.
2.Ifyoundthatthesettingisnotcorrect,havethe
parkingbrakescorrectlyadjustedbyyourprovider.
IMPORTANT!
Theparkingbrakesmustbereadjustedafter
replacingtherearwheelsorchangingtheir
position.
