CONTROL CABLE INSPECTION &
LUBRICATION
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Damaged control cables.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
Corrosion can result when the outer sheath of the control cable
is damaged. Cables can also become frayed or kinked.
In both cases, the operation of the controls could be affected,
causing difficulty in controlling the ATV. This could lead to an
accident or injury.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Inspect the control cables frequently. Replace dam- aged
cables as soon as they are detected.
NOTE: Lubricate the inner cables and the cable ends
with the recommended lubricant. Do so more
frequently if the ATV is operated in wet or cold
conditions, or near salt water. If the cables do not
operate smoothly, ask your KYMCO dealer to replace
them.
