(1) Detaching and refitting the developer unit and drum unit
When replacing the drum unit which was, for example, damaged due to scratches, perform the drum unit optimization pro-
cedure. See page 1-6-7.
<Procedure>
1. Open the top cover.
2. Remove the developer unit (with toner con-
tainer.
