Why is my lancer Sensation Beverage Dispenser dispensing only water or only syrup?
    • A
      allen40Dec 1, 2025
If your Lancer Beverage Dispenser is dispensing water only, with no syrup, or syrup only, with no water, several issues could be the cause. First, check if the syrup BIB is empty and replace it if needed. Ensure the water or syrup shutoff on the mounting block is fully open. Verify proper and adequate water or syrup supply by removing the valve from the mounting block, opening the shutoffs slightly, and checking the supply. If there's no supply, check the unit for other problems and ensure the BIB connection is engaged. Also, check that the CO2 pressure to the syrup pump is between 70-80 PSI (0.482 - 0.552 MPA). A stalled or inoperative BIB pump might be the issue, so check the CO pressure and/or replace the pump. Look for any kinked lines and remove the kink or replace the line. A malfunc...

Why is my Lancer Beverage Dispenser producing excessive foam?
    • S
      Shawn HartmanAug 25, 2025
If you're experiencing excessive foaming from your Lancer Beverage Dispenser, several factors could be contributing. Ensure the ice bin is filled with ice, allowing the cold plate to re-stabilize. If the ice isn't touching the cold plate, increase the auto agitation time. High incoming water or syrup temperatures can also cause foaming, so correct these before they reach the dispenser. Check that the CO pressure isn't too high, adjusting it downward but not below 70 PSI (0.482 MPA). If the water flow rate is too high, readjust and reset the ratio. A dirty nozzle and diffuser can also cause foaming, so remove and clean them. Finally, bleed any air from the BIB lines.

How to fix a Lancer Beverage Dispenser that has no product when the switch is activated and the switch panel is not lit?
    • P
      pbutlerAug 26, 2025
If your Lancer Beverage Dispenser isn't dispensing any product when the switch is activated and the switch panel is not lit, there could be several reasons. A malfunctioning switch assembly could be the problem, requiring replacement. There might be no power reaching the dispenser, so check the internal breaker and incoming power. A malfunctioning power supply could also be the cause; check the voltage to the power supply and inspect the fuses. Lastly, a malfunctioning PCB board could be the issue, necessitating its replacement.

What to do if lancer Sensation has no product when activated, but the switch panel is lit?
    • K
      Katie WilliamsAug 27, 2025
If your Lancer Beverage Dispenser is not dispensing product when the switch is activated but the switch panel is lit, there are a few potential causes. First, check if the keyswitch is off or if the keyswitch harness is disconnected; turn the keyswitch on and/or reconnect the harness. A malfunctioning switch assembly could also be the problem, requiring replacement. Lastly, a malfunctioning VersaPour valve could be the cause, so consider replacing the module.

Why does the circuit breaker keep tripping on my lancer Sensation?
    • J
      Jordan YoungAug 27, 2025
If your Lancer Beverage Dispenser's circuit breaker is tripping, it could be due to several issues. A valve wire harness might be shorted to itself or the faucet plate; detect this by disconnecting valve harnesses from the switch panel and restoring power. If the breaker doesn't trip, find and replace the shorted harness. The controller PCB could be faulty; disconnect the white 5-pin harness from the controller PCB and restore power. If the breaker doesn't trip, replace the controller PCB. A secondary wire harness might have a short; locate the short from a motor or solenoid harness and replace it. Lastly, the power supply could be bad; disconnect all harnesses connected to the power supply and restore power. If the breaker still trips, replace the power supply.

Why is the carbonator pump in my lancer Sensation noisy or cavitating?
    • W
      William LopezSep 16, 2025
If you're hearing a noisy or cavitating carbonator pump in your Lancer Beverage Dispenser, it's likely due to insufficient incoming water supply pressure. Verify that the incoming supply water pressure to the carbonator pump is a minimum of 25 PSI (0.172 MPA) and a maximum of 50 PSI (0.345 MPA).

Why is there low or no carbonation in my lancer Sensation?
    • J
      Janice KempSep 13, 2025
If you are experiencing low or no carbonation in your Lancer Beverage Dispenser, check the CO supply and adjust the CO pressure to 70 PSI (0.482 MPA). Low water pressure may be the cause, and a water booster kit may be needed. The carbonator pump may be worn or defective, and replacement may be necessary. The backflow preventer may not be allowing water to flow and replacement may be required, noting the flow direction arrow from pump to coldplate. The probe or PCB may be malfunctioning, and replacement may be required.

Why is the syrup flow insufficient in my lancer Sensation?
    • V
      Virginia BennettSep 14, 2025
If you're experiencing insufficient syrup flow from your Lancer Beverage Dispenser, several factors could be contributing. First, ensure that the CO pressure to the BIB pumps is adjusted to 280 PSI (0.552 MPA), with a minimum of 70 PSI (0.482 MPA), and do not exceed the manufacturer's recommendations. Make sure that the shutoff on the mounting block is fully open. Foreign debris in the syrup flow control can also cause this issue; remove the syrup flow control from the valve and clean out any foreign material. Finally, a defective BIB pump could be the problem, requiring replacement.

Why is the BIB pump operating, but there is no flow in my lancer Sensation?
    • S
      Sherry MorenoSep 6, 2025
If the BIB pump on your Lancer Beverage Dispenser is operating, but there is no flow, it could be due to a leak in the syrup inlet or outlet line, so replace the line. Alternatively, the BIB pump itself might be defective and require replacement.

Why does the BIB pump continue to operate when the bag is empty in my lancer Sensation Beverage Dispenser?
    • R
      Russell DavisSep 4, 2025
If your Lancer Beverage Dispenser has a BIB pump that continues to operate when the bag is empty, it could be due to a leak in the suction line, so replace the line. Alternatively, there could be a leaking o-ring on the pump inlet fitting, so replace the o-ring. Finally, the syrup BIB pump itself might be defective and require replacement.
