The Main Board consists of lots of PMIC modules, including PMK8450, PM8450, PM8350,
PM8350C, PM8350B, PM8010 and PMR735A. The functionalities of the PMICs are outlined
below.
■ Source various regulated power rails
■ Source system clock
■ Support for battery charging.
The charging port in PM8350B is configurable on the platform. The main board can either be
powered by 12V power adaptor or battery. 12V adaptor is the default power source for
HDK8450.
3.4.2 Battery connector
Battery is an optional power source for HDK8450, system will automatically select 12V DC-IN
as default power supply when both of them are available.
