•ForWindows8:PressF9toenableordisabletheAirplanemode.WhentheAirplanemodeisenabled,all
ofyourwirelessdevicesareturnedoff.
Youalsocanusethewirelessradioswitchtoturnonorturnoffthewirelessradiosofallthewirelessdevices
onyourcomputer.

Youcanconnectyourcomputertoaprojectortogivepresentationsoryoucanconnectyourcomputer
toanexternalmonitortoexpandyourworkspace.
Changingdisplaysettings
Youcanchangethedisplaysettings,suchasfontsize.

Tochangethefontsize,dothefollowing:
1.Right-clickonthedesktop,andclickPersonalize.
2.ClickDisplayattheleft.
3.Selectthedesiredfontsize.
4.ClickApply.Thechangewilltakeeffectafteryoulogoff.

Note:Whenyouconnectanexternalmonitor,avideointerfacecablewithaferritecoreisrequired.
Yourcomputercansupportamaximumvideoresolutionofupto1920x1200(withanexternalmonitor
attachedtotheVGAconnector)orupto1920x1080(withanexternalmonitorattachedtotheHDMI
connector),providedthattheexternalmonitoralsosupportsthatresolution.Formoredetails,referto
themanualsprovidedwithyourmonitor.
Youcansetanyresolutionforeitherthecomputerdisplayortheexternalmonitor.Whenyouusebothatthe
sametime,theresolutionofbothisthesame.Ifyousetahigherresolutionforthecomputerdisplay,you
canseeonlypartofthescreenatatime.YoucanseeotherpartsbymovingtheimagewiththeTrackPoint
pointingdeviceoranotherpointingdevice.
Youcanmovethedisplayoutputtothecomputerdisplay,theexternalmonitor,orbothbychangingsettings
intheDisplaySettingswindow.

Toconnectanexternalmonitor,dothefollowing:
1.Connecttheexternalmonitortothemonitorconnector;thenconnectthemonitortoanelectricaloutlet.
