TocreatearescuemediumontheWindows7operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
•FromtheWindowsdesktop,clickStart➙AllPrograms➙LenovoThinkVantageTools➙Enhanced
BackupandRestore.TheRescueandRecoveryprogramopens.
•IntheRescueandRecoverymainwindow,clicktheLaunchadvancedRescueandRecoveryarrow.
•ClicktheCreateRescueMediaicon.TheCreateRescueandRecoveryMediawindowopens.
•IntheRescueMediaarea,selectthetypeoftherescuemediumyouwanttocreate.Youcancreatea
rescuemediumusingadisc,aUSBharddiskdrive,orasecondaryinternalharddiskdrive.
•ClickOKandfollowtheinstructionsonthescreentocreatearescuemedium.
Usingarescuemedium
Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtousetherescuemediumyouhavecreated.
•Ifyouhavecreatedarescuemediumusingadisc,usethefollowinginstructionstousetherescuemedium:
1.Turnoffyourcomputer.
