YourcomputersystemboardhasamodulecalledEEPROM,alsoreferredtoasashmemory.Youcan
updatetheUEFIBIOSandtheThinkPadSetupprogrambystartingyourcomputerwithaashupdate
opticaldiscorashupdateapplicationrunningintheWindowsenvironment.
Insomeinstanceswhenyouaddsoftware,hardware,oradevicedriver,youmightbeinformedthatyou
needtoupdateyourUEFIBIOSinorderforthenewadditiontoworkproperly.
