Bydefault,theAlwaysOnUSBconnectorenablesyoutochargesomemobiledigitaldevicesand
smartphoneswhenthecomputerispoweredoff,providedthattheacpoweradapterisconnected.
However,withtheacpoweradapterattached,ifyouwanttochargethesedeviceswhenyourcomputerisin
hibernationmodeorpoweredoff,youneedtoconnectthecomputertoanacpowersupplyandenablethe
AlwaysOnUSBsettingsintheThinkPadSetupandPowerManagerprogram.Fordetailsabouthowtoenable
