Particulatecontamination
Attention:Airborneparticulates(includingmetalflakesorparticles)andreactivegasesactingaloneorin
combinationwithotherenvironmentalfactorssuchashumidityortemperaturemightposearisktothe
serverthatisdescribedinthisdocument.Risksthatareposedbythepresenceofexcessiveparticulate
levelsorconcentrationsofharmfulgasesincludedamagethatmightcausetheservertomalfunctionor
ceasefunctioningaltogether.Thisspecificationsetsforthlimitsforparticulatesandgasesthatareintended
toavoidsuchdamage.Thelimitsmustnotbeviewedorusedasdefinitivelimits,becausenumerous
otherfactors,suchastemperatureormoisturecontentoftheair,caninfluencetheimpactofparticulates
orenvironmentalcorrosivesandgaseouscontaminanttransfer.Intheabsenceofspecificlimitsthatare
setforthinthisdocument,youmustimplementpracticesthatmaintainparticulateandgaslevelsthatare
consistentwiththeprotectionofhumanhealthandsafety.IfLenovodeterminesthatthelevelsofparticulates
orgasesinyourenvironmenthavecauseddamagetotheserver,Lenovomayconditionprovisionofrepair
orreplacementofserversorpartsonimplementationofappropriateremedialmeasurestomitigatesuch
environmentalcontamination.Implementationofsuchremedialmeasuresisacustomerresponsibility.
