Drive backplane connectors
The following illustration shows the internal connectors on the drive backplanes.
Note: Some cable connectors have locks or latches that must be disengaged to disconnect the cable.
There are two types of drive backplane used in the server: one that controls only SAS drives and one that
controls both SAS and NVMe drives. Cable routing for drive components is different for SAS and SAS/NVMe
drives:

SAS/NVMe drive backplane connectors
