      If the LEDs on your LERICA Food Saver do not turn on, there could be several reasons. First, ensure the appliance is plugged into a suitable power socket. If the power cord is damaged, it needs to be replaced by a qualified technician to prevent any risk. Also, check that the fuse is correctly fitted and not blown; this should be done by authorized technical personnel. If none of these steps work, there may be damage to the vacuum packaging machine, and you should contact the Technical Assistance Centre.

      If you're experiencing insufficient vacuum in the bag when using your LERICA Food Saver, it could be due to a few reasons. The bag may be leaking, in which case you should change the type of bag you are using. Alternatively, sharp edges might be perforating the bag; try using thicker bags. Also, ensure the bag opening is clean; if it's dirty, use a new bag and keep the opening clean.

      If you're unable to create a vacuum inside containers with your LERICA Food Saver, it might be because the cover is not positioned correctly. Reposition it and redo the vacuum, applying slight pressure on the cover. Another reason could be a dirty gasket on the cover or a dirty edge of the container. Clean these areas and then redo the vacuum, again applying slight pressure on the cover.
