9 Click Submit.
10 Review the instructions on the Scan to PC screen.
A shortcut number is automatically assigned when you click Submit. Use this shortcut number when you are
ready to scan your documents.
a Go to the printer, and then place your original document faceup, short-edge first into the ADF or facedown
on the scanner glass.
b Press #, followed by the shortcut number on the keypad, or touch Profiles on the home screen. If you
touched Profiles on the home screen, locate your shortcut in the list.
After you enter the shortcut number, the scanner scans and sends the document to the directory or
application you specified.
11 Return to your computer to view your file.
The output file is saved in the folder location you specified or launched in the application you specified.
