New Features
The Forms and Bar Code Card v3.1 offers the following new features:
• Three new Forms Card menu options:
– Print All Forms—Allows a user to print information about all formsets stored on a printer,
as well as some printer-specific information.
– Print Port Setting—Allows a user to select which of the printer input ports the
FormsMerge DLE performs merging on.
– Local Port Timeout—Allows a user to select a timeout value for forms jobs that come in
on any of the local ports (such as, serial, USB, or parallel).
• Support for the following new symbologies in PCL5 and PostScript:
– Codablock F
– Data Matrix
– HIBC
– ITF-14
– MicroPDF
– PLANET
– RSS-14
• Four new composite bar code options:
– EAN Composite
– RSS-14 Composite
– UCC Composite
– UPC Composite
• Vertical text centering
• Support for UTF-8 formset filename encoding
• Enhanced page delimeters
• Ability to fax and e-mail merged output from supported printers
• Ability to use formsets stored on a USB flash drive for FormsMerge operations
• RFID support on the Forms Card
• Expanded international font support
