Attach the top strap of the child restraint system to the top tether anchorage of the
vehicle.
Install the child restraint system according to the user’s manual included with it.

1 Remove the head restraint.
If the head restraint cannot be removed, move it to the uppermost position.
Route the top strap under the head restraint.
2 Engage the hook to the top tether anchorage.
3 Tighten the top strap to secure the hook.
Make sure that the top strap is tight and the hook is securely engaged.
Installing a child restraint system with a seat belt
Install the child restraint system according to the user's manual included with it.
In the following situations, refer to the "vehicle compatibility list" from the manufac-
turer of the child restraint system, or contact your Lexus dealer or the retailer of the
child restraint system.
● When the child restraint system is not a "universal" category child restraint
system
● When it is unknown if the child restraint system is a "universal" category child
restraint system or not
WARNING
Observe the following when installing a child restraint system.
● After installing a child restraint system, do not adjust the seat.
