2-2. Driving procedures
To extend the life of the vehicle,
observing the following precautions is
recommended:
 For the first 200 miles (300 km):
Avoid sudden stops.
 For the first 600 miles (1000 km):
• Do not drive at extremely high speeds.
• Avoid sudden acceleration.
• Do not drive at a constant speed for
extended periods.
■ If a message about a shift operation is
shown
To prevent the shift position from being
selected incorrectly or the vehicle from
moving unexpectedly, the shift position may
be changed automatically or operating the
rotary shifter may be required. In this case,
change the shift position following the mes-
sages on the multi-information display.
■ Reverse warning buzzer
When shifting into R, a buzzer will sound to
inform the driver that the shift position is in
R.
