command and must be
typed. The brackets [ and ]
are field delimiters and are
not typed.

where:
< = Start Character
Note:
All command
characters are lower case,
except for the V (verbose).
x = Command Character
yyyy = Optional Command Parameter
> = Terminating Character
Handshake
Upon execution of the command, and assuming you have typed <V>
for Verbose, the REMOTE instrument will send a response based on
the value of the counts, suppress alarms, and alarm status. Examples of
responses are listed below:
<ERR> = Error in Command String.

Sample: ch1-2: 0, 0 Range1= 5000, Range2= 2500.
When the unit is powered up, it sets up the counters and timers, and
starts reporting data. The data will be similar to this example:
Sample: ch1-2: 0, 0 Range1= 5000, Range2= 2500.
Sample: ch1-2: 0, 0 Range1= 5000, Range2= 2500.
Protocol
Protocol is defined through an RS-232 interface. The hardware
protocol is defined as:
Baud Rate: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Stop Bits: 1
Parity: None
Flow Control: None
