10.5 CPR backrest release
The bed permits quick mechanical lowering of the backrest for emergency resuscitation (CPR) procedures.
Set the position as follows:
 Pull and hold CPR backrest release lever and simultaneously press backrest down by the mattress
guard handle.
NOTE: In some cases (e.g. with bed in Trendelenburg position without power supply) it is possible to use the
CPR lever to raise the backrest.
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to lowering the backrest too quickly!

Ensure single collapsible side rails are in their lowest position.
or

Ensure split plastic side rails are in their highest position.

Ensure there are no body parts between side rails and backrest.

Press the backrest down only by the mattress guard handle or the side rail.
