1 General

This manual is intended to support the two frequency variants of the Link HD transmitter and down converters.
As the operation of these two variants is identical, all references in the text will be to the 2GHz variant; L1403 and L3020.

1.1 Safety
The L2132 Receiver unit and L1255 Data Transmitter must be earthed; either via an earthed mains supply or a separate
earth connection.
Operate within the environmental limits of the product and ensure there is adequate ventilation.
Only authorised trained personnel should open the product. There are no functions that require the user to gain access to
the interior of the product and the warranty will be invalidated if the unit seals are broken.

1.2 Compliance
This equipment has been designed to meet the requirements of the following:-
EN60950 European Safety of information technology equipment including business equipment.
UL 1950USA Safety of information technology equipment including business equipment.
EN 55022 European Emission Standard equipment-class A.
EN 55103-2 European Generic Immunity Standard.
ETSI EN301 - 489 - 3 For Radio Equipment in the range of 1GHz to 40GHz
ETSI EN300 - 440 -1 For Radio Equipment in the range of 1GHz to 40GHz
The CE mark is affixed to the LinkHD and the EC Declaration of Conformity and Technical File is available on request.
