2.1 L1403 Link HD Transmitter
The Link HD L1403 is a compact HD MPEG2 encoder/transmitter covering the 1.95-2.7 GHz (or L1405 for the 3.4-3.58
GHz) frequency range for broadcast applications.
2.1.1 Controls and Display
The L1403 is configured by the operator using the menu structure displayed on the colour LCD display , six membrane
push buttons are used to navigate through these menus and select the required data. Please see Section 2.1.2 for details
of the menu structure.
The left / right buttons are used to select the required top level menu, as indicated by the ‘tabs’ at the top of the display.
The up / down buttons are then used to scroll to the required sub-menu option.
Enter selects this option which can then be modified with the up / down buttons.
Enter will then select the option or Cancel will exit back to the level above without selecting or changing the settings..
Alternatively the unit can be configured from a PC terminal using the Link Control software. Please see Section 4.1 of this
manual for details of this software.
