If the force trans ducer in the stage is cha nged for any rea son (such as s wapping between the 20N and 200N transducer) a dista nce calibration must
be performed. To begin this, tap on the 'Length' button, which will pop up a confirma tion dialogue:
Make sure the jaws are free of obstructions and tap the OK button to continue, which will return you to the ma in control screen while the calibra tion
ta kes pla ce. This process is automatic, the tensile displa ys will change to 'Cal' vers ions while this is happening, as below:
While these readings show 'DCal' and 'FCal' do not operate the stage, the readings will revert to norma l once the ca libration is complete and the
system is ready for us e.

The only additional information displayed for a DSC600 or DSCX600 stage is the DSC count (1). There are no additional controls. Plea se see your
DSC600 stage ma nual for an explana tion of DSC counts .
