To cha nge the displayed vacuum value from Bar to MPa simply touch the desired ra dio button.
Motor Tab
T96 System Controllers connected to sta ges which ha ve motorised movement, such as the MDS600, TST350 or the GS350 require a number of motor
drive option boards, one for ea ch motor.
Each motor tab will show the deta il of the boa rd and how it is configured and which stage is connected.
Extra informa tion about the end stops and encoders are also deta iled.
DSC Tab
DSC stages requires an option board with further signal conditioning circuitry for the highly sensitive DSC signal. This tab does not ha ve any settings
a user ma y change and only details the s tage it is connected to and also details of the option boards ha rdwa re.
Sample Calibration
Depending on the s pecific properties of your sample (for example; tota l mass, thermal conductivity, surface area and flatness), it is pos sible that
thermal losses between the heating block and the sample or a temperature gradient through the sample may caus e a difference between the
reported temperature of the stage and the actua l tempera ture of your sample. To account for this, the Sample Calibration function ha s been
included with the Linkpad or LINK software to allow you to apply an offset to the dis played tempera ture, if required.
To use sample ca libration tap on the settings bar and select the 'Sta ge' tab and the following s creen will appear:
Tap the 'Values ' button and a further s creen will appear:
To res et any stored values to the default settings tap the 'Clea r' button which will cause a confirma tion prompt to appear:
ta p 'OK' a nd the stored values will be clea red, taping on cancel will leave the values as they are currently set.
