When DHCP Snooping is disabled for a VLAN, the binding entries that were collected for that
VLAN are removed.
If the database is full, DHCP Snooping continues to forward packets, but new entries are not
created.
To add entries to the DHCP Snooping Binding database:
1.
Click Configuration > IP Network Operations > DHCP Snooping Binding Database.
To see a subset of entries in the DHCP Snooping Binding database, enter the relevant
search criteria and click Search.
2.
To add an entry, click Add and enter the fields:
VLAN IDVLAN on which a packet is expected.
MAC AddressMAC address of a packet.
IPv4 AddressIP address of a packet.
InterfaceType of interface on which a packet is expected.
TypeThe possible field values are the following:
DynamicEntry has limited lease time.
StaticEntry was statically configured.
Lease TimeIf the entry is dynamic, enter the amount of time that the entry is to
be active in the DHCP Database in User Defined. If there is no Lease Time, check
Infinite.)
3.
Click Apply. The settings are defined, and the device is updated.
