7.2 Steps for communicating with the device/PLC/human interface
7.2.1 Communication cable connection
1. Connect the communication cable between the device/PLC/human interface and the inverter
with the power OFF. The connection terminal of the MODBUS communication cable is RJ45 port.
￭ Connect J1 or J4 (RJ45) via RS232/RS485 interface to PC, J1, J4 definition:
￭ The PC issues the command. If there is no reply or the Check Sum is incorrect, it indicates that
there is a problem with the line or the J1 and J4 (RJ45) of the C/B are in poor contact.
RS-485
