Using the Features

2. Press the buttons to select System Lock and then press the OK button

buttons to select different rating: Off, 4, ...,18.

menu or the EXIT button to exit the menu.

Parental Lock

This function allows you to set up blocking schemes to block specific channels and ratings. It operates according to information

from the broadcasting station, therefore if the signal has incorrect information, this function will not operate.

This TV is programmed to remember which option it was last set to even if you switch the TV off.

When a locked programme is selected, the password screen will appear. Enter the valid password to view the programme.

Customising the Feature Setting

System Lock

The System Lock must be set to On for this function to operate. If the System Lock is set to On, a valid password must be entered

when you access the Auto Tuning / Manual Tuning / First Time Installation / Channel Manager (locking or deleting a channel).

To access the System Lock sub-menu, you must enter the password. Enter the default password “0000” for the first time use. You

can change password in the System Lock sub-menu.

System Lock is designed to prevent accidental retuning of the TV / losing channels and prevent children watching unsuitable

programmes.
