1) installation of the attachment
In order to ensure that the attachment can not
slide from the right to left along with the
fork arm carriage in the use process to
cause safety issue, the attachment must be
installed and located reasonably, reliably
and safely.
After the attachment is equipped, the block
of upper hook equipped with the
attachment should be inserted in the gap of
cross beam, to make the offset between the
center lines of attachment and fork arm
lower 50mm, if not the cross stability can
be affected; after the attachment (paper
clip, soft clip, multi-purpose steel arm clip
and barrel clip etc.) with rotary function is
installed, the stop block should be weld at
the two sides of connection of cross beam
of fork arm carriage and attachment, to
prevent the left and right sliding of
attachment in the operation process; when
the attachment with lower hook is installed,
the clearance at the mating place of the
lower hook and lower cross beam of fork
should be properly adjusted.
All attachments in the world adopt the
hook installation, the mating installation of
attachment and forklift truck should not
have any issue, you should choose the
attachment of mating the forklift truck
strictly according to the internal standard
ISO 2328 “ Installation size of hook-type
fork and for arm carrier ” .
2) Use of the attachment
a. The operator who operates the
attachment of forklift should have the
practical experience of operation, at the
same time the operator first should be
familiar with the related indication on
the nameplate of forklift, read the
related use instruction (especially for
the use guideline and installation
instruction of professional attachment
company,) fully know the basic
performance and operation method of
attachment, and especially have a more
detailed understanding for the allowable
load of forklift, lifting height, size of
goods and available range of
attachment.
b. When you operate the attachment of
forklift with many functions (side-move,
clamping or rotary etc. functions), the
two actions should not be
simultaneously done, the action should
be done after the other action is
finished.
c. The overload of forklift with attachment
is forbidden, the offset is not allowed
when the load is lifted at high position,
for the offset load operation at high
position (especially the side-move type
flat clamp with combination valve, that
is the shared flat clamp of side-movable
oil cylinder and adjustable oil cylinder),
there only is allowed a short time
operation, the offset should be strictly
controlled within the range of about
100mm;
d. That the forklift with attachment is
driving at high position is forbidden;
