1) Before storage
Before the forklift is stored, clean it
thoroughly and check it according to the
following procedures:
a. Remove the oil and grease on the
vehicle body with cloth and water;
b. When the vehicle body is cleaned,
check the overall condition of vehicle,
especially check whether the body is
caved or damaged, whether the tire is
worn out and whether the tire groove is
inserted with iron nail or stone block;
c. Fill the fuel tank with appointed fuel
d. Check whether oil is leaked;
e. Fill the grease as required;
f. Check whether the hub nut and the
joint face of cylinder piston rod are
loosened, and whether the surface of
piston rod is damaged and scraped;
g. Check whether the mast roller is stable;
h. In winter or cold season, there is no
need of drain the long effect antifreeze.
If it is cold water, drain it out.

• If the forklift needs repair, is out of
work or has unsafe factors, the
condition shall be reported to the
administrator, and repair the forklift
until it's recovered to safety condition.
2) Routine storage
a. Park the forklift at the appointed place
and block the wheel with wedge block;
b. Engage the shift lever at neutral
position and pull up the parking brake
lever;
c. Shut down the engine when the key is
at "OFF"position. Operate the
multi-way valve many times, release
the residual pressure in the oil cylinder
and pipeline.
d. Take off the key and keep it safe.
3) Long-term storage
Perform the following regulation and
maintenance on the basis of Routine
“ storage ” ;
a. In consideration of rainy season,
the forklift shall be parked at
higher and hard ground;
b. After the battery is taken off from
the forklift, even though the
forklift is parked indoors, if the
place is damp and hot, the battery
shall be stored at dry, shady and
cool place, and it'll be charged
once per month;
A comprehensive inspection of the
forklift can avoid the forklift
malfunctions and prolong the service
life of the forklift. The hours listed in
