Motion and smart motion detection
To congure motion and smart motion detection settings:
1. From the camera’s live view, right-click and then click Main Menu.
2. Enter the system user name (default: admin) and password.
3. Click EVENTS > Event Settings > Motion Detect.
4. Congure the following:

a. Select a connected smart
motion detection camera.
b. Check Enable.
c. Click Setup > Area to set the
active areas.
d. Click Setup > Schedule to set
the weekly schedule.
e. Set preferences for how the
system reacts to motion.
f. Click Smart Motion Detection
to enable person or vehicle
detection (see next page).
