BELT REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL
Install new belt to the deck. Refer to "Belt Routing".
Put down gear box previous position.
Torque hardware to the proper specification.

3. Remove belt from the deck and discard.
The mower deck belt should be replaced every 200 hours of mower operation, or anytime the belt shows
signs of wear, cracking, or other demage.
The mower MUST be removed from the tractor for belt replacement. See "Mower Deck Removal" section
for proper precedure.
Step 1. Remove hardware securing the belt cover
(1) from the deck.
The Tensioner with Tension Pulley are
under spring tension. To prevent
possible injury, use caution when
handling the Tensioner assembly.
Reinstall the deck cover and gearbox bracket,
secure with bolts.
Secure the gear box with four upper bolts and four
lower bolts.
Note the routing of the belt to help ensure proper
installation of the new belt. Refer to belt routing
Step 2. Remove gearbox bracket(2) from the
deck. Don't remove the other side.
Make certain the belt is properly engaged in each
pulley.
