5-4. First 50 hour check
After using first 50 hours, contact your authorized dealer for maintenance if possible.
- Replace engine oil & engine oil filter. (⇒ Refer to Every 300 hour check. See page 5-34)
- Replace hydraulic oil filter. (⇒ Refer to Every 300 hour check., See page 5-35)
- Check transmission / rear axle / hydraulics oil level.
- Check front axle oil level.
- Check and adjust parking brake.
- Check torque of exhaust manifold bolts.
- Check and adjust V-belts and tension.
- Tighten all cooling system hose connections.
- Check torque of safety cab or frame mounting bolts.
- Check torque of front end weight clamp bolts. (Where fitted)
- Check torque of wheel bolts and nuts.
- Check tire pressures and condition.
- Clean radiator, oil cooler and A/C condenser cores. (Where fitted)
- Check radiator coolant level and specific gravity.
- Check clutch pedal free play. (Mechanical synchro-shuttle models)
- Check brake adjustment and pedal equalization.
- Lubricate all grease fittings.
- Neutral start switches operative.
