6-3. Every 6 month check
(1) Checking refrigerant amount
z Check the refrigerant amount periodically. Have to contact your authorized dealer for it.
Refrigerant : R-134a, 850 ~ 900 g (29.98 ~ 31.74 oz)
z The components of the air conditioning system have to be handled by authorized service expert.
(2) Cleaning Condenser and Radiator screen
z Stop engine and allow engine to cool. Open bonnet and remove the radiator screen.
z Wash the mud or foreign materials added to the condenser and radiator screen with soft brush or low
pressurized air or water.
z Pay attention that the cooling fin does not damaged. If necessary, repair the distortion of fin.
(4) Belt tension adjustment
z Check the belt tension is proper and If necessary,
adjust the tension by compressor adjusting bolt.
z Tension : approx. 10 mm (0.4 in.)
(when pressed by 98N (22 lbf))
z Check the damaged part of the belt and if
necessary, after checking the pulley alignment,
replace it by a new one.
(3) Checking Leakage
z Check the tightening torque and oil leakage state
of the connecting section.
z If oil spot and foreign materials is added a lot, it
means that there is a leakage of refrigerant.
