INJECTION NOZZLE HOLDER INSERT
INSTALLATION
1. Thoroughly clean insert bore and
surrounding area before installing insert.
2. Apply Loctite 620 completely around the
center of all three sealing diameters of the
new insert.
Refer to Figure 5-51.
3. Using nozzle sleeve installer J 29297 (2),
drive insert (1) into cylinder head until it
bottoms in lower counterbore face.

The valve yoke guide pins are located between
valve guides.
INSPECTION
Inspect valve yoke guide pin surface for cracks or
other damage. Also check pin diameter and
installed height.
