Motor coolant level
The equalising reservoir for the motor coolant is located on the
front of the MT (see illustration 83).
WARNING!
Danger of injury!
The cooling system is pressurised.
Hot coolant can squirt out when the cooling system
is opened and scald skin and eyes.
X Open the cooling system only when the coolant's
temperature is below 90 °C.
X Unscrew the cap slowly and allow the pressure to
escape completely before opening.
X Wear suitable protective gloves, clothing,
and goggles when handling coolant.
WARNING!
Danger of poisoning!
There is a danger of poisoning when you swallow
coolant.
X Never swallow coolant.
X Never pour coolant into drinking containers.

Check the motor coolant level.
The coolant level should always lie between the “MIN” and
“MAX” markings.
X Refill with motor coolant if necessary.
Use with a mixture of water and anti-freeze/corrosion
protection agent.
If the coolant has to be refilled regularly, check the
cooling system for leaks.
