 Ignition OFF
 Cam phase sensor connector
DISCONNECTED
 ECU connector CONNECTED
 Check the continuity between
pin 3 and pin 1 of the cam
phase sensor connector
Step 6
Does continuity
exist?
YES
Go to step 7
Is voltage 4.7 to
5.25V?
YES
N
O
Step 5
 Turn ignition OFF
 Cam phase sensor connector
DISCONNECTED
 Turn ignition ON
 Measure the voltage between
pin 3 of the cam phase sensor
connector and battery
negative
 Ignition OFF
 Check for any loose
connections or pin
oxidation in the cam
phase sensor connector
 Clear the error codes and
verify
Go to step 8
