 Insert the Demister
Blower relay in its
position
 Turn ignition ON
 Check voltage between
terminal 86 of Demister
Blower relay
connector and battery
ground
Is the voltage 12
Volts?
YES
NO
Step 3
 Turn ignition OFF
 Demister Blower Relay
REMOVED
 ECU connector
DICONNECTED
 Check continuity between
terminal 85 of Demister
Blower relay connector and
terminal 91 of ECU
connector.
 Turn ignition OFF
 Demister Blower Relay
DISCONNECTED
 Check Demister Fuse (20A)
& replace if necessary
 Check the wiring harness
between terminal 86 of
Demister Blower relay
connector and terminal 87 of
the ECU relay for
continuity
 Repair / Replace wiring
harness if necessary
Does continuity
exist?
YES
NO
Go to Step 4
 Examine the open circuit
 Repair / replace wiring
harness
Step 2
