pin 1 of the rail pressure
sensor connector and pin 76 of
ECU connector

 Examine the open circuit
of ground line
 Repair/replace the wiring
harness
 Clear the error codes and
verify

 Ignition OFF
 Rail pressure sensor connector
DISCONNECTED
 ECU connector DISCONNECTED
 Check the continuity between pin 2 of
the rail pressure sensor connector and
pin 54 of ECU connector
Does continuity
exist?
 Ignition OFF
 Examine the open circuit
in signal line
 Repair/replace the wiring
harness
 Clear the error codes and
verify

Go to Step 9
