Place the battery inside the compartment (Figure 20).

Make sure the battery contacts are aligned before
pushing the battery into place (1) and the removal-tab
is easy to reach (2) (Figure 21).

The removal-tab, attached to the back of the battery
case, should be wrapped around the battery to
remove it easily (Figure 22).

Replace the lid on the easyTymp and push it upwards
to close the battery compartment (Figure 23).
It is recommended that the battery is removed from the
device when it is not in use for extended time periods.
4.2.1.4 Charging the easyTymp Battery

NOTE: Please note that the battery needs to be charged for a
minimum period of approximately 6 hours prior to first use of the
easyTymp hand-held Tympanometer (Figure 24). To charge the
battery please place the easyTymp into the cradle and connect the
cradle to the mains power with the use of the easyTymp power
supply provided.

The spare battery is stored and charged in the back of the cradle
(Figure 25).
