PROBLEM 16
No swing operation, but engine loads.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Mechanical hang-up; Solenoid failure; Wiring fault.
CHECKS
When applicable switch or handle is enabled is the following displayed:
Swing brake disengaged?
Yes No
Consult dealer/factory.
Repair or replace switch or wiring.
Consult dealer/factory.
Check for 24 volts DC to swing brake solenoid valve. (See
Section 3 - Checking Electrical Inputs/Outputs.)
Check low-pressure source at brake valve for 500 psi (35 bar) with
a 0 to 1,000 psi (0 to 69 bar) gauge.
Repair or replace swing
brake or gearbox.
247 psi (17 bar) or more
247 psi (17 bar) or less
No
Replace relief valve or pump.
Set pump low-pressure source relief to 500 psi (35 bar).
Is 500 psi (35 bar) obtained?
