Upgrade Notifi cation
Display a notifi cation message on this unit’s menu screen when
downloadable fi rmware is released with “Add New Feature”. Connect
to broadband Internet (vpage6) when using this function.

Press [MENU].
Turns on the Menu settings mode and the Menu appears on
the display. (vpage22 “Menu map”)

Use ui to select “Network”-“Other Network”-
“Upgrade Notifi cation”, then press [ENTER/
MEMO]

“Upgrade Notifi cation” menu appears.

Use ui to “On”, then press [ENTER/MEMO],
<ENTER> or p.

Display upgrade message.
Do not display upgrade message.
• When you press [ENTER/MEMO] or <ENTER> during display of the
notifi cation message, the “Add New Feature” is displayed (Refer to
vpage31 for more information on “Add New Feature”).
• Press

Tuning Aid
:
The reception sensitivity of the currently tuned in frequency is
displayed.
• The program can be received without noise when the cursor move
to the right of the sensitivity display.

:
The service list is created with the auto scan function.

:
Compress dynamic range (difference between loud and soft sounds)

DAB Initialize
:
When the “DAB Initialize” procedure is performed, all the preset
memory settings for the stations and DABs are reset.
Once initialization is completed, auto scanning is performed
automatically.
DAB Version
:
The DAB module’s version is displayed.
