CYLINDER COOLING FINS
1. Press up the bottom of the swivel ring to remove the swivel
ring.
Note: Take care of falling the swivel ring in the engine
when remove the swivel ring.
2. Loosen the knob and remove the lter cover.
3. Rotate the carburetor throttle cam and slip out the cable lug
from the slot in the slotted tting.
4. Unscrew the lock nut and the cable adjuster sleeve from
the bracket.
5. Twist the high tension lead boot on the spark plug back and
forth a couple of times to loosen the boot, then pull the boot
o of the spark plug.
6. Remove three screws and lift o the cylinder cover.
7. Clean all dirt and debris from the cooling ns and from
around the cylinder base.
8. After cleaning, reinstall the cylinder cover and the high
tension lead boot. Then reinstall the cable adjuster sleeve,
the cable lug, the swivel ring and the lter cover in order.
SPARK PLUG
The spark plug should be removed from the engine and
checked after each 25 hours of operation. The tips can be
cleaned with a sti brush.
Adjust the gap to 0.6-0.7mm (see sketch). Replace the spark
plug if it is oil fouled or damaged, the average spark plug life
is approximately 100 hours.
CAUTION-Do not over tighten the spark plug. The correct
torque is 10.7-16.6N • m(100 -160 kgf • cm).
