• CDI = conductive discharge ignition
• Test the orange wire for AC voltage, with the
2 prong connector unplugged.
Standard: 65 V ± 10%
NOTE: all buttons must be in the on position to
perform this test.

19.8 Relay
• The two unsheathed red wires will have 12 Volts
• The blue/white will also have 12 Volts.
• The red sheated wire that is going to the starter will
not have 12 Volts until the starter button is pressed.
• Test the blue/white wire for 12 Volts until the starter
button is pressed.
Once the starter button is pressed, the blue/white
wire will become a ground and send 12 Volts
