Chapter 7- Iris
Iris allows a variety of standalone devices to connect to Root. Patient data can be
passed through Root to Patient SafetyNet or Connectivity Gateway, which can send
the data to electronic health records.
Below is an example of one way Root can be used in a network setting using Patient
SafetyNet. Root receives and may display information from Radical-7, MOC-9
modules, as well as standalone devices.
