Part 4. TPS mode
4.1 Purpose and specificity of use
Scales in the mode of the Ticket Printing Scales (TPS) are used for calculations with buyers during
the sale of weighting and piece items. The use of scales in the TPS mode (hereinafter - scales) is appro-
priate for trade, where the turnover consist of weight items for the most part.
The terminal:
o calculation cost of weight and piece items;
o calculation total cost and change;
o creation and printing of accounting documents:
report on sold items per day and per month;
intermediate report on revenue (X - report);
final report on revenue (Z - report).
o transfer report on sold items to external systems via interfaces RS-232 and Ethernet;
o save all transactions on the miniSD memory card for opportunity to view and analyze on a
computer;
o separate accounting for sellers.
Terminal is quite a functional system of accounting and sales analysis by itself. In addition, it can
communicate with other accounting systems through interface Ethernet ports and RS-232.
The terminal has the ability to connect bar code scanner, which can speed up the seller.
* TPS mode is only fro retail modifications of scales (MK_TP, MK_TP-U).
