Brake does
not stop
blade within
10 seconds.
1. Motor brushes not sealed or
lightly sticking.
2. Motor brake overheated from
use of defective or wrong size
blade or rapid ON/OFF cycling.
3. Arbour bolt loose.
4. Brushes cracked, damaged, etc.

1. Inspect/clean/replace brushes.

• In order to avoid injury from an accidental start-up, always turn the
switch to the OFF position and unplug the mitre saw before moving the
mitre saw or the blade, replacing the blade, or making adjustments to
the mitre saw or the blade.
