See Figure 1 for the locations of items 1 through 14, below.
1.
ERASE button - Erases Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs),
and “Freeze Frame” data from your vehicle’s computer, and resets
Monitor status.
2.
SYSTEM button - When linked to a vehicle, displays the
System Menu.
3. DTC/FF (DTC/Freeze Frame) button - Displays the DTC View
screen and/or scrolls the LCD display to view DTCs and Freeze
Frame data.
4.
POWER/LINK button - When the FixAdvisor IS NOT
connected to a vehicle, turns the FixAdvisor “On” and “Off”. When
the FixAdvisor is connected to a vehicle, links the FixAdvisor to the
vehicle’s PCM to retrieve diagnostic data from the computer’s
memory.
To turn the FixAdvisor "On", you must press and hold the
POWER/LINK
button for approximately 3 seconds.
5. M (Menu) button - Displays the Main Menu.
6. LD (Live Data) button - When linked to a vehicle, places the
FixAdvisor in "Live Data" mode.
