8.23 TROUBLESHOOTING – VIRTUAL ACTIVE CONTENT NOT FOUND
VIRTUAL ACTIVE CONTENT NOT FOUND
1) SYMPTOM:
Virtual active content not found (Figures A & B).
2) SOLUTION:
1. This problem is usually related to an incorrect conguration or a component that has not been installed.
2. Verify the USB Flash Drive is installed into the USB Drive Port inside of the Matrix 7xi console.
3. Go to 7xi Service Mode screen. Press the Enter key, 3-0-0-1, Enter key. Tap or click Virtual Active. Verify that the path variable is set, Root
Path = D: or E: or set the "Auto Find" option with true (Figure C). note: If you have chosen true for the "Auto Find" option, the unit power
should be reset. Turn off the unit and wait 30 seconds, then turn the unit back on.

TOUCH SCREEN USER AND REGISTER BUTTONS UNRESPONSIVE
1) SYMPTOM:
Touch screen user and register buttons unresponsive (Figure A).
2) SOLUTION:
1. Reboot the machine. This will clear the memory and restore the unit to normal operation.
2. If the user and register buttons are still unresponsive, go to section 8.18, No Netpulse Network Connectivity.
3. If you have performed all procedures described in section 8.18, No Netpulse Network Connectivity and the buttons still not work, then replace
the entire console.
