14) Enter Service Mode by pressing ENTER, 3, 0, 0, 1, ENTER on the lower keypad and check that the Machine Type is correctly set for
S7xi. If not correct, press ENTER, 3, 0, 0, 2, ENTER on the lower keypad and select the correct Machine Type (Figure J).
15) Enter Service Mode by pressing ENTER, 3, 0, 0, 1, ENTER on the lower keypad and press the edit key on the screen. Enter the values
recorded in Step 3 if necessary (Figure K).

1) From the welcome display, enter service mode by pressing ENTER, 3, 0, 0, 1, ENTER and press the General key on the screen. Check if
the MLCB firmware package (Figure A) and LCB version are right (Figure B). If not, upgrade the 7xi software first as section 11.1 then follow
below steps to upgrade the LCB software.
2) From the welcome display (Figure C), enter LCB software update by pressing ENTER, 3, 0, 0, 9, ENTER (Figure D)
3) Click to choose the correct software and press the Install Update key on the screen (Figure E).
4) Press the Yes key to auto run the upgrade process (Figure F).
