Fast Idle Warm Up For
Engine Cleaning. Engine
Speed Will Return to
Normal When Cleaning
is Completed
This message is indicated when the
engine speed increases because the
engine is being cleaned internally.
The engine speed will increase while
the engine is running an internal
cleaning cycle with the selector lever
in the P or N position (automatic
transmission) or the shift lever in the
N position (manual transmission). Do
not stop the engine while the engine
speed is high. When the cleaning cy-
cle is completed, the engine speed
will return to normal.
Shift Into Park Before Ex-
iting Vehicle
This message is indicated when the
driver’s door is opened with the shift
lever in a position other than the P
position.
Close the driver’s door or shift the
shift lever to the P position.
