3 - General information
Electrical power supply
Connect the heater to a power socket having the same voltage and frequency as those specified on the
identification plate. For safety reasons, all power supply cables are equipped with a three-pole plug with
earth. If extension cords are used, be careful not to exceed the length. Make sure that the extension cord
used is sized for the voltage that the heater needs to operate correctly.

Only use the heater in well ventilated rooms. Increase the ventilation if multiple heaters are used in the same
room. Remember that these types of heaters may produce carbon monoxide, a substance that can cause
serious poisoning and, in some cases, even death.
Sizing the heater
The thermal power of the heater is calculated based on the volume to be heated. Below is a simple formula
that can be used to define the heater's power.
